The Scribbler's Turned Two!!!

Yep, boys and girls, the most unread blog in the blogosphere has turned two years old as of April 6, 2008. Three cheers and a Tiger for me!!! I'm surprised that I've kept the damn thing going for this long because frankly, it's not because of the tremendous readership that the blog has created over these last 24 months that keeps me doing this. It's because, like most other people who blog on the Internet, I have actually deluded myself into thinking that other yahoos are actually remotely interested in what I have to say. My problem is that I haven't successfully convinced them into reading this crap.

As I've said, I don't push this thing, don't really care if anyone reads it. It'd be nice if they did, but hey, if this was actually an active blog with real readers who glean for the occasional nuggets of wisdom amongst the large lumps of bullshit that come from this literary trainwreck, then that means that I'd have to post a lot more than I do in order to keep putting out content to keep the masses wanting more, and anyone who knows me know that I'm a lazy bastard, who doesn't want to do much of anything beyond watching Unbeatable Banzuke and listening to ten tech podcasts a day. This means that I actually have to work at cultivating readership, and that's just plain unacceptable.

Well, I just wanted to acknowledge that this little outpost on the Net has turned two years old, and that's it's been fun to put this thing out to those intrepid souls who make their way out to this obscure corner of the Internet to see what's going on here. Hope you didn't get lost on the way.
